iota epsilon-mid year report
We purchased and cut out vinyl quotes and sayings to place in area elementary schools. Our Chapter met at two elementary schools and placed vinyl decals on 48-bathroom stalls. We also had teachers in each school read the book, "What Should Danny Do?" by Adir Levy and teach a lesson that was written for building character and kindness. We choose one bilingual and one English speaking classroom in both schools. The students loved it!
One member cut out the vinyl and six members helped prepare the vinyl so we were able to place the bathroom stalls. We invited our entire chapter to each school to place vinyl on the stalls. We had 18 members participate at the schools.
The project is going great. The students and teachers are loving the character lesson.
We have contacted a third campus and possibly a fourth. We would like to place more kindness quotes on the stalls to impact more students in our community.
