Annette Becker - speaker at ticketed event

Annette Becker is the speaker at the Ticketed Event on Friday after the ASTEF Annual Meeting. She is an art educator and material culture researcher whose work focuses on the history of dress. Annette Becker serves as the director of the Texas Fashion Collection, an archive of nearly 20,000 historic and designer garments and accessories housed at the University of North Texas's College of Visual Arts and Design. In that role, she creates accessible and engaging programming for learners from a wide range of backgrounds, connecting their interests with the TFC's world-class holdings. Her work is informed by experiences in education departments of museums around the country, as well as graduate training in art history, art education, and history.
