ASTEF COMMITTEES

The Advancement Committee plans fundraising events and donor recognition programs.
|
The Programs and Projects Committee is in charge of soliciting, reviewing, and approving applications for Aspiring Educator Grants and Project Stipend Grants. This committee also reviews the nominations and advances the Advocate of Education for a full board vote. They are in charge of locating and applying for outside grant funds.

The Finance and Administration Committee advises ASTEF members on financial decisions of the Board. They prepare a budget, keep current on balances, recommend approval of expenditures.

The Marketing & Public Relations Committee
develops strategies to communicate ASTEF's goals to potential donors and to generate interest in the purposes (scholarship, leadership, projects). This committee also creates awareness within TSO of the projects, leadership, and scholarship activities to promote women educators and the students of Texas. |
