Hopefully you took a chance and played Mystery Mania. It was fun, fun, fun! For
$10.00, you choose a number card and win at least a ten-dollar gift card. Some sisters won much more than just $10. ASTEF appreciates every person and chapter that donated gift cards for the game. If you missed it this time, we will be doing it again in San Marcos. Start saving now! |
TICKETED EVENT
Dave Leiber, author and Dallas Morning News watchdog columnist, was the featured speaker at our state convention this year. He took us on a trip to tell us how to become a Texan. He provided humorous stories and how a Yankee can definitely become a Texan. He was joined by his wonderful wife, Karen. Dave brought the book, The Dog of My Nightmare, and told many tales about how he met the dog and was eventually welcomed into Karen’s family by the kids and yes even the dog. At the conclusion of the event, Dave signed copies of the book as well as his newest book,
Dandy Don Meredith: The First Dallas Cowboy. Hopefully you were able to join in on the fun and enjoyed great laughs. |
