beta xi Mid Year 2023

At our September meeting we met with the Director of the Educating Childrens Future - Community Center (ECF-CC), Tracy Cantu and presented her with a check for the entire amount of the grant. In November the chapter participated in a fundraising event for ECF-CC. In December several members visited the ECF-CC during their Christmas party for the children. Three members have attended ECF-CC and read to the children or interacted with games and conversations. Sixteen members made and stuffed Christmas stocking for the children in the program. The chapter and six individual members contributed financially to the ECF-CC during the Coastal Bend Day of Giving on Nov 8th. The total we gave was $250, and because of the generosity of the Coastal Bend that amount was doubled to $500 for ECF-CC.
