If you have ever been to a TSO Convention, you know that some of the busiest people at the convention are the ASTEF Directors. Directors present workshops to help members understand the opportunities ASTEF provides, honor an outstanding woman by presenting her the ASTEF for Education Award for her work on behalf of education, host a ticketed event with an interesting speaker and theme, hold their Annual Meeting, and raise funds in a multitude of ways.
Have you ever wondered, “What has been the most successful fundraising campaign?” Well to date, the 2015 Piggy Posse is hands down the most successful raising nearly $21,000 thanks to the help of State Personnel and Directors who served as our Pig Handlers. A great deal of fun was had as everyone competed to see who would be the Grand Champion Pig! The honor went to Betty Hill of Area 4 who was serving as their Area Coordinator.
